Futures Week at ARU is a pivotal event for you to enhance your employability and career prospects. With a blend of online and face to face events, from our Jobs and Placements Fair to interactive games, it offers a comprehensive platform for exploring your future prospects and professional development.

Engaging with employability specialists and discovering tailored resources available to you, you can effectively prepare for your future career while enjoying the dynamic campus atmosphere.

Whether you want to learn how to level up with LinkedIn, find out how you can start your own business or set up a freelance career, or get insights into particular industry sectors, don't miss out on this week packed full of career expertise.

Choose from a mixture of virtual and in-person events and visit our on-campus stands featuring some fun games to put your employability knowledge to the test. There's even an opportunity to nail your LinkedIn profile photo! Our friendly team will be at the Futures Week stands - just drop in and say hello!

  • Cambridge – Helmore Street every day from 11am to 2pm
  • Chelmsford – MAB Foyer every day from 11am to 2pm
  • Peterborough – University Houser Foyer, Monday, Thursday & Friday from 12pm to 2pm
  • Writtle – Cow Watering Campus on Tuesday, Garden Room on Thursday from 12pm to 2pm

Do I need to book for the on-campus stands?

No! Just come by and see us during the times stated above! Our on-campus stands will feature a range of interactive activities designed to boost your career readiness and make your Futures Week experience fun and engaging. Each stand offers a unique way to explore your career path, so make sure to visit them during Futures Week!
