As a final year student, you’re probably juggling deadlines, decisions and a growing list of 'what next?' questions.
That’s exactly why the next couple of months are packed with opportunities to help you feel more prepared, more confident, and more in control of what comes next.
Throughout Trimester 2, the Employability Service will be on campus running activities, answering your questions, and offering the kind of practical support that makes a real difference when you’re thinking ahead. Whether you’re exploring graduate roles, figuring out where to start, or just want to check you’re heading in the right direction, we’ve got events and drop ins designed for you.
On campus stands
Drop by our on-campus stands throughout February to meet the team, try out career building challenges, and pick up practical tips that can give you an edge as you start thinking about your next move. At each stand, you’ll have the chance to build core career skills and discover the support available to you. Learn more and view the dates, times and locations.
Events and workshops
Alongside our stands, you’ll find a full programme of events built around the key things final year students tell us they want support with: writing applications that stand out, building a strong LinkedIn profile, feeling confident when networking, and understanding how to approach the graduate job search. There’s plenty more too - take a look at the events on offer and book your place through Handshake.
Don't lose access to Employability Support
Remember that you can continue to use many of the tools and resources offered by the Employability Service after graduation as alumni.
To stay up to date with the latest information, jobs and events, you need to update your Handshake and Career Centre Online profiles with your personal contact details so that you can still access support after your university email account has been deleted.
Plus, visit our dedicated Graduate Futures resource for everything you need to know about employability support after you graduate.
