Support During a Pandemic
We hope that you, your family, and friends are keeping safe and well in the current circumstances. It’s safe to say we have never experienced economic, professional and personal challenges like those we are facing now.

Sadly, while many businesses are struggling just to survive there are others that are finding it difficult to recruit suitably qualified and experienced staff. And whilst our on-campus offices are closed, we have continued to work remotely with those local businesses who are still operating to secure work opportunities for our temps. For example, we have been successful in securing a number of remote temporary roles in various sectors and have provided key front-line staff for COVID-19 response initiatives such as local asymptomatic testing centres. ARU also launched the Covid Business Support initiative, which includes a graduate internship programme targeted at our recent graduates.

New opportunities such as these are coming in all the time so, if you are still available for temporary work, we urge you to continue checking our jobs board and applying for any roles that are of interest to you.

We recognise that with the continuous changes and disruption to our lives there may be times when you need support and guidance, so we have identified a couple of resources that you may not be aware:

The Department or Health & Social Care (DHSC) and Public Health England (PHB) are leading the UK Government response to the coronavirus outbreak.
