Meet our speakers!

Kris Baya, Managing Director, Prolific

"Experienced Head Of Music & Brand Partnerships with a demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. Skilled in Business Planning, Advertising, Marketing, Sales, Event Management, Sponsorships and Management. Strong business development professional graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with First Class Honours, blah, blah, blah....The truth is that I LOVE music & talking to people about great ideas; business is easy after that ;)"

Zoe Garshong, Founder & Director, Ms Independent Global

"I graduated from university with an excellent grade in Bsc Economics (a very male-dominated degree), with great work experience and connections. But I still found myself earning less money, and staying in junior roles in comparison to my male counterparts. I soon realised I lacked the skillset and confidence to talk about my achievements and abilities to employers, and I also felt extremely uncomfortable talking about money. I had a fear of taking risks which was holding me back. After studying the gender pay gap, I realised that a lot of women face the same issues. I never wanted another girl to go through what I went through, especially the ones who don't have the opportunities that I had. And so Ms Independent was born."
