Overview
:
The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire’s Professional Standards Department is responsible for ensuring that standards are maintained for improving public confidence and quality of service to the public by protecting and enhancing the integrity of the organisations and individuals working within these forces.
The department does this by:
Preventing and detecting unethical behaviour, dishonesty and corruption
Conducting timely and robust public complaint and internal misconduct investigations
Identifying lessons learned through investigation
Educating, promoting and supporting good practice
Ensuring the highest level of security in order to contribute to the public of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire being and feeling safe.
Duties:
Designing a Continuous Learning Framework for the department when learning is identified through PSD/IOPC investigations.
Engaging with Stakeholders across Bedfordshire. Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire forces to deliver Strategic goals of the designed learning Framework.
To monitor project performance against these, updating plans and communicating progress effectively.
Requirements:
ARU UG student
Good Communication skills
Project Management skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Visio
Learning outcomes:
Development of Project planning
Communicate and collaborate effectively and appropriately with different professional in the environment through written and oral means
Recommending ideas to improve work effectiveness and efficiently by analysing challenges and considering viable options
