The Student Ambassador scheme is a dedicated team of students who work to support events and projects throughout our university.
If you want to develop your skills for employability, earn money throughout the year and are #ARUProud then this is the role for you.
This role is open to students studying at Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough.
You can represent your course, faculty and support schools and colleges events including:
- Open/applicant days
- UCAS fairs
- On campus and virtual events
- Campus tours
- Faculty events
- Schools and college visits
How do I become an Ambassador?
At ARU, we encourage anyone who has a positive attitude, can work well in a team, and loves to inspire others to become a Student Ambassador. Whether you are in your first, second or third year, or studying a postgraduate course, we would love to hear from you.
How to apply
Step 1: If you have already completed a profile and have successfully registered with ARU Temps, please click ‘Apply’.
New students: please create a profile with ARU Temps and complete the required fields when you click ‘Apply’. (To complete your registration, you will need to show your Right to Work documents to a member of the team, who will be in contact).
Step 2: A member of the ARU Temps team will be in touch with next steps for you to follow.
Step 3: Our Student Ambassador Coordinator will review the submitted applications and contact you via email to invite you to attend a training session.
Step 4: Attend an on-campus training session to learn more about the role and the skills required to become a Student Ambassador. You will get the opportunity to meet some new people too!
Step 5: After successful completion and confirmation of your training, you can apply for job opportunities, develop your skills, and start earning!
You will have the opportunity to make a difference and transfer your skills onto your CV.
