We are needing trained student ambassadors to support an upcoming careers fair!

Role: During this role you will be representing ARU on a careers fair stand at Fulham Cross Academy. The fair is from 9:30am to 1:30pm. You will need to arrive by 9:00am latest to set up the stand equipment, and answer students queries about ARU until it finishes.

• You will need to be confident speaking to Yr10 - 13 students about the different courses that ARU offers (including a bit of info on Writtle and degree apprenticeships), your experience at ARU, the course you are on and why you chose ARU etc.
• You will need to wear your student ambassador tshirt/hoodie, ID lanyard and comfy shoes. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
• You will need to arrange collection of stand equipment before the event happens
• You will be able to claim back or request the cost of train tickets/mileage for your journey and if you are driving, please ensure that you have business insurance. Travel time will be included in your paid hours. If you require train tickets, please contact Georgie asap so that these can be purchased for you.

Requirements:

• You will need to be a Schools & Colleges trained ambassador!
• Confident talking to year 10 students.
• Happy to travel to and from the college.
