Job Description

For the Applicant Day we are looking for students from the Faculty Science and Engineering to work as Ambassadors for their course/faculty and talk to potential students about your course and life at ARU.
 
Applicant Days are a chance for potential students to come and discover the campus and find out more about their chosen course in more detail, meet future classmates and find out from our own students what life at ARU is like
 
 
Date: Saturday 5th April 
Times: 09:30 - 13:00
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Location: Chelmsford Campus 
 
Job role:
  • Attend the Applicant Day and join in with interactive sessions for their course area.  
  • Represent ARU and share your student experiences both within the wider community and your course.
  • Support the Course Leaders throughout the session and take instruction from them as required.
  • Engage and interact with the prospective students – answer questions, share experiences, encourage conversation.  
  • Stay for lunch to network and further continue friendly conversation.
  • Must be confident and sociable
We are looking for students from the following courses only: 
  • Architecture 
  • Civil engineering 
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Building Surveying
  • Construction Management
  • Electrical engineering 
  • Robotic engineering 
  • Mechanical engineering

REQUIREMENTS:
  • You must be a current ARU student
  • Be proactive
  • Have excellent communication skills and be polite, helpful and engaging
  • Have a good knowledge of Chelmsford Campus
