Summer Motorsport Event Crew (France)
Location: Le Mans, France
Hours: Full-time, temporary
Term: Event-based (24 Hours Le Mans and Classic Le Mans)
Start Date: June 2025

Our client is a leading provider of premium motorsport hospitality, delivering exceptional experiences at some of the most iconic racing events including 24 Hours Le Mans and Classic Le Mans. Priding themselves on delivering a world-class service to their high-net-worth clientele, they ensure the race weekend is nothing short of spectacular with track side (or very close) accommodation and catering. They are recruiting a team of dedicated event crew to play a crucial role in bringing these experiences to life.
The role
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Event Crew to join the team and help set up, run and break down this premium motorsport hospitality site in France. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in events, work as part of a dynamic team and enjoy some of the best motorsport in the world. Duties include:
Event Setup & Logistics
Assist with site setup, including erecting fences, tents, and gazebos.
Support electricians, plumbers, and technical teams with infrastructure setup (Wi-Fi, TVs, power, water).
Set up signage, marquees, and guest facilities (charging points, pamper tents, meet-and-greet areas).
Ensure all guest tents are prepped, including airbed inflation and final checks.
Event Operations
Welcome and assist guests, providing directions and information.
Manage on-site maintenance, including waste disposal and general upkeep.
Support car parking, guest transport services, and shuttle coordination.
Monitor guest facilities, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
Assist in resolving any guest inquiries or issues efficiently.
Event Breakdown & Close-Down
Dismantle tents, gazebos, and event equipment.
Clean, pack, and store materials for future use.
Assist in removing site infrastructure, including water and electrical supplies.
Conduct a final site clean-up and ensure all waste is disposed of correctly.
Person spec
Available for one of both of the following events – you MUST be able to commit to the entire event schedule from transport to return travel:
7th to 17th June – 24 hours Le Mans
30th June to 8th July – Classic Le Mans
Hardworking & enthusiastic – willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the event to make it a success.
Team players – able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable & resilient – comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Customer focused – friendly, polite, and professional when interacting with guests.
Physically fit and able to undertake manual labour as required and be on your feet for long periods of time.
A genuine interest in motorsport & events is a plus!
MUST have a valid passport with an expiry date no earlier than 3 months of the event return dates (e.g. 8th April 2025 for Classic Le Mans).
Additional information for applicants:
Accommodation is provided in shared tents. You must bring your own bedding.
All meals are included - breakfast, lunch & dinner plus tea, coffee and water.
Transport from Chelmsford to the event sites is provided free.
Perks - access to some of the best motorsport action during breaks, reduced price drinks at the onsite bar, pamper tent with full size mirrors and hairdryers (priority given to clients).
24 hour site security and Wi-Fi.
