Pay Rate:
£15.97 per hour
Location:
Hybrid / Chelmsford campus- Must be able to commute to Chelmsford campus

Job Details:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support ongoing hydrological and academic research activities on our Chelmsford campus. This role involves both technical and academic responsibilities, contributing to the enhancement of our research infrastructure and the development of impactful publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the upgrade and maintenance of instrumentation at a hydrological monitoring station on campus (in addition to the existing station near the Tindall Building).
Drafting one journal article and one report for RE Impact Case Study (data and information have already been collected but some additional analysis is required)
Collaborate with academic staff to ensure the accuracy and quality of research outputs.
Maintain clear and organised documentation of research activities and findings.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in drafting academic papers and technical reports.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with hydrological monitoring or environmental instrumentation is desirable but not essential.
