About the Role

Are you passionate about student wellbeing and mental health? Join ARU’s Counselling and Wellbeing Service as a Peer Wellbeing Mentor and help foster a supportive, inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion ARU’s wellbeing services and help students access support
• Host monthly wellbeing awareness stands on topics like mental health, stress, and alcohol awareness
• Run weekly “Wellbeing Hangouts” to provide a safe, welcoming space for students
• Create engaging content for newsletters, blogs, and social media
• Support students in joining clubs, societies, and faculty events
• Represent the service during Welcome Weeks and other university events
• Log activities and follow ARU’s safeguarding and confidentiality procedures
