Job Description

For the Undergraduate Open Day we are looking for students who currently live or have lived in ARU Accommodation.
 
Date: Saturday 25th April  
Times: 09:30 - 14:00
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Location: Chelmsford Campus - this role is based ON CAMPUS
 
Duties: In this role, you will provide a friendly and welcoming environment to potential students and their families visiting our campus. As this role will be with the Residential Service, you will be expected to show the visitors around the university's halls of residence and answer any questions they may have.
 
It would be an advantage if you have previously stayed, or currently stay in one of the halls.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
  • You must be a current ARU student
  • Be proactive
  • Have excellent communication skills and be polite, helpful and engaging
  • Have a good knowledge of Chelmsford Campus

Benefits

On the day you will be provided with a Student Ambassador T-Shirt and lanyard. Those working outside will be given a hoodie or High-vis jacket. If outside, please make sure you wear warm clothing and suitable footwear.
Before you work, you will be given a campus map and an overview brief to read to ensure you are fully aware of what will be happening on the day. 
 This is your chance to meet new people, talk about your course, faculty and your student experience at ARU.
