Skyships Automotive Limited is a dynamic automotive technology company and tier 1 supplier to exclusive high performance automotive OEMs. Skyships' infotainment products have powered several models from Aston Martin, Pagani, Karma and other similar brands. We design, develop, manufacture, validate, create software for, generate HMIs for, and manage integration of driver information systems, cockpit controllers, and connected car solutions.
The role
We are seeking an energetic software engineer who is able to learn on the job and help deliver exciting projects to key customers. Our engineers get to work with a nimble team, supportive leadership and some of the most exclusive cars.
Responsibilities:
Working with the software or electrical team to develop hardware/software for automotive infotainment & cockpit systems and other electronic control systems.
Helping engineering team with wiring and testing of wiring harnesses for cars
Unit testing and functional testing of automotive hardware and software
Person spec
Computer programming languages such as C++ or C
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronics
Interest in automotive engineering
Curiosity about technical concepts
Learning outcomes
At the end of the internship the successful intern should be able to demonstrate:
An understanding of embedded systems
Ability to grasp technical problems and break them down into their constituent parts
Helping others and work in a team
