As part of the Admissions and Applicant Services team you will:

✅ Contact applicants and offer holders by telephone to support engagement and progression through the admissions process.

✅ Encourage offer holders to choose ARU by sharing your experiences and providing insight into student life.

✅ Follow up on outstanding documents and information needed to progress applications.

✅ Remind applicants about interviews, Applicant Days, Open Days and other recruitment events.

✅ Support applicants with DBS and Occupational Health requirements.

✅ Help identify and overcome barriers preventing applicants from progressing.

✅ Support the Admissions Customer Service team during busy periods.

✅ Assist with applicant engagement and conversion activities during Clearing and other peak periods.

✅ Create content such as videos, testimonials and social media posts to support applicant communications and recruitment campaigns.

✅ Accurately record activity using university systems.

✅ Act as a positive representative of ARU and provide an authentic student perspective.

Previous customer service, ambassador, volunteering or student representative experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
