Open Day Roles:

Check in Ambassador:

Within this role you will be part of our check in team. You will be greeting guests as they arrive at ARU and getting them checked in on our iPad. To be a check in ambassador, we need you to be enthusiastic, welcoming, and approachable. After checking your student and guests into our event, you will direct them to the next stage of check in, where they collect their bags, guide and itinerary for the day. This role is fast paced and allows you to develop your customer service skills.

In this role you will be stood at the front of reception welcoming students to our campus and directing them to check in. On occasion, you will be assisting with crowd control and ensuring the traffic flow of people to check in is smooth. This role definitely requires lots of enthusiasm, a welcoming presence and a big smile!

Directional Ambassador:

This role is not just standing and giving directions. This is one of the most important roles at the Open Day! Within this role you need to have a detailed knowledge of our campus and be able to effectively signpost guests around our campus. You will not be stood still doing nothing! You’ll be showing guests to their locations, answering questions, giving directions and helping the Open Day move effectively.
