Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Administrator
 
Location: Chelmsford campus - initially fully on campus reducing to one day per week with remainder working from home
 
Start date: ASAP
 
Proposed end date: 11th November 2024
 
Hours: 30hrs to 37hrs per week - Monday to Friday (between the core hours of 8.30am and 5pm)
 
Rate of pay: £12ph
 
Duties:
  • Help process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and UK employment laws.
  • Process payroll adjustments.
  • Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll discrepancies and help resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including personal data, pay rates, and benefit selections.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and relevant departments.
  • Assist in the preparation of Payslips, P45’s and Auto enrolment letters.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate employee records and benefit administration.
  • Provide support during audits related to payroll processes and documentation.
