HOURS: 8:30am -16:30 (with a 30 minute unpaid break, to be taken between 12:00 - 14:00)

PAY: £12.60 per hour
Welcome Week is approaching and we need ambassadors to work within the registration hubs in Peterborough during September!
Job Duties - Working with the student and library services supporting them with the following duties:
- Greeting visitors who are attending the Registration Hub to register
- Asking questions of visitors to triage which section they need to attend e.g e-Vision registration, Right to Study scanning Production of ID cards, Fees team
- Staffing PC’s to check the status of a students registration query
- Assisting students who are using a PC to complete their e-Vision registration tile•Liaising with ARU core staff on behalf of students with complicated queries
- Managing the queues of students who need to see other stakeholder teams e.g Fees
- Giving directions
- Managing queues to ensure social distancing measures maintained
- Checking a students status on our IT systems to enable us to ascertain if they can proceed to the next stage of the registration process
- Printing student ID cards on our Paragon system
- All duties will be fully risk assessed and you will be made aware of the appropriate processes to follow
- Assisting student with the Yoti id system
We are looking for students who can work more than one shift over the duration of the role, and you must be available to work the FULL DAY.
