Job Title: Student IT onboarding Assistant (Chelmsford)
Dates: Monday 12th January - Friday 16th January
Hours: Shifts available each day (Mon - Fri) either 9am - 3pm or 9am - 4pm
Location: Chelmsford Campus - This role is campus based position
Pay: £12.60 per hour
We require up to x3 assistants required each day. This role is open to students and non students.
Duties: To assist students visiting the Registration Hubs in Chelmsford with IT Onboarding activities, including helping students with:
- The first time login to their ARU student account
- Connecting their personal devices to our eduroam wireless network
- Changing their initial password to one of their own/assisting with password issues
- Registering for Multifactor Authentication (MFA)
Training for all of the above will be provided.
Person Specification:
- IT experience is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm, resilient and firm under pressure
