Job Description

Date: Thursday 5th March 
Times: 09:30 - 12:00 
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour 
Location: Chelmsford Campus
 
Duties:  You'll be helping train Operating Department Practice students by allowing them to practice ultrasound scanning on you. This isa non-invasive, painless procedure using a handheld ultrasound probe with gel.
During the session:
  • You'll lie or sit comfortably on a couch/bed
  • Students will apply ultrasound gel to areas of your body (neck, shoulder, arm)
  • They'll place an ultrasound probe on your skin to view internal structures (nerves, blood vessels, muscles)
  • Each student will scan you for approximately 1-2 minutes.
  • An experienced facilitator will be present at all times
