Job Title: Business Clinic Administrator

Hourly Rate: £13.84 per hour

Job Purpose: The role holder will provide day to day administrative support to the Business Clinic, strengthening external engagement and B2B partnerships. You will also act as a key link between academic, professional services and external stakeholders and you will coordinate engagement projects and support commercialisation opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide efficient day to day administrative support for the Faculty Business Clinic, ensuring all routine processes are completed accurately and on time.
- As the single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolve issues or problems effectively, escalating where appropriate.
- Support the planning and implementation of the ARU Business Clinic engagement process, ensuring effective coordination as the Business Clinic scales up.
- Organise engagement activities using CRM-enabled relationship tracking mechanisms.
- Ensure regular liaison and communication with colleagues across the university, building good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support customer satisfaction and stakeholder feedback activities, designing evaluation mechanisms to capture insights, analyse themes to inform future action, and implement recommendations for continuous service improvement.
- Maintain and quality-assure stakeholder records and interactions via the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and compliant information is readily accessible.
- Assist with the preparation of specialised data reports and dashboards on industry engagement activity for senior management
- Assist in the maintenance of internal and external-facing promotional strategies and material content for use across communication platforms
Person Specification:
Previous experience:
- Experience in delivering effective administrative outcomes
- Experience of problem solving by accurately checking, interpreting and organising information in line with established procedures.‑solving by accurately checking
- Proven ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
- Demonstratable experience of working with external stakeholders
- Experience of planning and delivering events and activities
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to resolve issues and queries independently but in line with quality standards and established procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow established procedures when dealing with issues and to seek guidance when situations fall outside standard practice.
