Times: 09:00 - 14:30 (30 min unpaid break)
Pay Rate: £13.45 p/h
Location: Chelmsford Campus
Event: The event is designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the variety of careers in the field of Health and Care as part of a full day experience and is aimed at college/sixth form students studying level 3 courses.
Role: The Schools and College's team are seeking student ambassadors from each subject discipline listed below to assist with the various interactive activities being delivered across campus, led by you, academics and your fellow HM's ambassadors. You will be responsible for:
- Leading the demo activity
- Working with the course academics
- Engaging with the year 10 students
- Positively promoting ARU and your specific course
Subjects required:
- Paramedic Science (x2 ambassador needed)
- Nursing (x2 ambassador needed)
- Midwifery (x2 ambassador needed)
- ODP (x2 ambassador needed)
- Medicine (x2 ambassador needed)
Requirements:
- Must be confident with big groups of people.
- Confident leading an interactive session.
- Good communication.
- Uniform MUST be worn!
