Our client is a
well-established accountancy firm based in central Chelmsford - they are
seeking a reliable and detail-orientated Temporary Data Entry Assistant to
support the team during a short-term staffing gap.
This is an excellent
opportunity for a student or graduate looking to gain practical experience in
an accountancy environment, with the potential to develop into a longer-term
internship for the right candidate.
Due to the short timeframe, the
successful candidate will ideally be able to start immediately and complete a
short handover period, working alongside the current post-holder until
mid-June.
The role
- Accurately input and maintain
data within company systems
- Support administrative
processes linked to a recruitment-focused client
- Assist with general office
and administrative tasks as required
- Work closely with colleagues
to ensure continuity during staff transition
Person spec
- Current
student or graduate from a relevant course e.g. Accounting & Finance
- Strong
attention to detail and accuracy
- Good
organisational skills with the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently
- Confident with
basic IT systems and data entry
- Reliable and
able to work independently when required
- Positive,
proactive attitude
- Interest in
accountancy, finance, or business
- Previous
experience in an administrative or data entry role (preferred)
