Artist/s – Intricate Model Painting
Pay rate: £13.45 per hour (min)
Location: Remote
Hours: Flexible and to be confirmed by the successful artist
Term: Temp
Deadline for project completion: Mid-August 2026
The opportunity
We are seeking one or more highly skilled artists to complete intricate painting work on a set of four 3D models (approx. 15 x 9 cm each). This is a highly confidential creative project requiring exceptional attention to detail and a professional, discreet approach.
The successful artist/s will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, hand-painted finish using acrylic paints and a lacquered seal, with additional detailing as specified.
Key responsibilities
Hand-paint four supplied 3D models to a high standard of detail and precision
Apply acrylic paint finishes and protective lacquer coatings
Incorporate additional finishes where required (e.g. glitter paint effects)
Manage materials independently - all paints, tools, and finishes must be supplied by the artist
Ensure safe handling, care and return of couriered models throughout the project
Complete work within agreed timelines
Person spec
Proven experience in fine-detail model painting, miniature painting, or similar artistic work
Strong portfolio demonstrating intricate, high-quality finishes
Ability to work with acrylic paints and lacquer sealing techniques
Access to own materials and equipment
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Able to complete the project by mid-August 2026
