Midwifery Taster Day Ambassadors – Chelmsford Campus

We are looking for 3 Midwifery students to work as Ambassadors at our upcoming Midwifery Taster Day at the Chelmsford Campus!

Date: Tuesday 20th October 2026
Working hours: 09:00 - 15:00
Pay rate: £13.45 per hour
Location: Chelmsford Campus

The Role

You will support a practical Midwifery Taster Session delivered by an academic, helping prospective students engage with the session and learn more about studying Midwifery at ARU.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting the academic with setting up the practical session.

• Engaging with prospective students and assisting them throughout the session.

• Sharing your experiences of studying Midwifery at ARU and answering questions about student life and the course.

• Participating in an Ambassador Q&A session with visitors.

• Helping to create a welcoming, informative and engaging experience for prospective students.

You will be required to wear your Midwifery uniform for this role.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is exclusively open to current ARU Midwifery students.

Due to the specialist nature of the practical session and the subject-specific knowledge required, applicants must be currently studying Midwifery. Students studying other courses will not be considered for this role.

We are looking for students who are enthusiastic, approachable and confident in sharing their experiences to help inspire prospective students considering a career in Midwifery.
