CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER –

SUMMER HOLIDAYS/ON-GOING BANK CONTRACTS 

Belsteads Group Children’s Homes - Little Waltham near Chelmsford

 

We are looking for kind and caring staff to help support our young people on a bank basis – we can usually provide shifts during most weeks but will have extra shifts during the summer holidays when our young people are not at school, to support with activities, days out and general home life.

We have 3 x homes on our11acre site. ‘Little Belsteads’ and‘ The Belsteads Lodge’.  Both care for young people from the ages of 8-17 with a Learning Disability or Difficulty. 

‘The Belsteads Bungalow’ supports children 8-17 with complex health needs.

Our young people require different levels of support, from support with their communication and behaviours, to helping them with their personal care and independence skills. Every day is different, and our main aim is to ensure all our young people are happy and safe.

Any experience in a similar field/position would be advantageous or could be ideal for students studying a related degree – Social Care, Nursing, Health etc. 

We can offer on-going bank contracts where you can pick up available shifts when you are able to.

Hours: Long days 7.30am-8pm or Waking Night 8pm-7.30am (some late/early shifts will also be available)

Pay rates:  £13.04ph Day / £13.68ph Waking Night
