Lab and Weighbridge Harvest Assistant (Asheldham, Essex)

Job Description

Dengie Crops Ltd requires personnel to work in their Laboratory and weighbridge department at our Asheldham site during the grain harvest intake period, typically end June until early to mid-September.

The job includes weighing, analysing, storing and grading grains and pulses as well as other weighbridge/laboratory activities.

You must be able to work as part of a team and have a professional but friendly approach as the role includes liaising with customers / farmers upon arrival.

Pay Rate: National Minimum Wage

No previous experience required. Full training will be given for all aspects of the role.

The applicant must be:

18 years old or older at start of Harvest (29th June).
Willing and flexible.
Punctual and reliable in attendance
Prepared to work long /late hours and weekends.
Computer literate (basic Knowledge)
Must be fully available and committed to all dates in July to mid-September
