Your Role & Responsibilities:  

• Provide excellent customer service to all event attendees.  
• Engage with attendees in a positive and friendly manner, ensuring that attendees feel welcomed to the university.  
• Ensure that attendees find their way to the correct space/room.
• Ensure that attendees successfully sign in at the welcome desk, recording attendee details manually if they do not appear on Eventbrite.  
• Support with required tasks throughout the day, including managing queues, overseeing the lunch and refreshments spaces, and ensuring that attendees can safely move around campus.  
• Monitor the areas, reporting any issues (for example: spillages) to Lauren Tabbinor.

Requirements:

• This is a large-scale event, and the role is front facing- you will be required to talk to visitors- and excellent customer service is essential.  
• Have good communication skills, be polite and confident engaging with visitors.
• Be proactive and willing to help staff.

• Dress code: appropriate trousers with comfortable shoes- a student ambassador t-shirt will be provided.
