We require up to x3 assistants required each day. This role is open to students and non students.

About The Role:
Are you friendly, tech-savvy, and enjoy helping others? We're looking for enthusiastic IT Student Onboarding Assistants to join our IT Services team during one of the most exciting times of the academic year: student registration and welcome.
In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you'll be supporting new students as they connect to essential university systems and services, helping them get ready for success from day one.
With full training provided, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in IT support, customer service, and higher education while working in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Registration Hub team, you'll assist students with:
- Logging into their student account for the first time
- Connecting personal devices to the university's eduroam Wi-Fi network
- Resetting and changing passwords
- Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Providing a welcoming and positive first impression of the University
- Helping students overcome common IT issues during registration
No specialist IT qualifications are required, but confidence using technology and excellent communication skills are essential.
