Job Description

Internship TitleAI Supply Chain Simulation Co-Ordinator 
 
Start Date: March/April 2025
 
Duration: 6 weeks
 
Location: Chelmsford & remote
 
Hours: 20hrs per week
 
Rate of pay: £12.60ph
 
Duties:
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of the ARU Chelmsford supply chain simulation lab project.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders such as ARU IT, external contractors, professional services, the supply chain team, and management.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the supply chain lab.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, overall budget, and timing for the simulation lab.
  • Implement AI tools and technologies to support students and staff.
  • Create and support supply chain technology learning materials in partnership with the supply chain academic team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and university policies.
  • Support industry and external research opportunities 
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff and students on the use of AI tools and supply chain technologies.
Requirements:
  • ARU UG student
  • Keen interest in current and future technologies tool chains i.e. AL, IoT, ML etc
  • Project Management: Ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide clear reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and building relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge with external projects and partners
Project Deliverables:
  • Successful establish and open our supply chain simulation lab
  • Complete one or more student base workshop session material (supply chain and professional experience project) (Timing April/May 2025)
  • Create a long-term roadmap for the supply chain simulation lab within research, education and external partners i.e. KPT, external funding
  • Material content which can be used to enhance our supply chain technology master class
