ARU Spring Internship 2025 - AI Supply Chain Simulation Co-Ordinator

Internship Title: AI Supply Chain Simulation Co-Ordinator

Start Date: March/April 2025

Duration: 6 weeks

Location: Chelmsford & remote

Hours: 20hrs per week

Rate of pay: £12.60ph

Duties:

Coordinate and manage the delivery of the ARU Chelmsford supply chain simulation lab project.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders such as ARU IT, external contractors, professional services, the supply chain team, and management.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of the supply chain lab.
Provide regular reports on project status, overall budget, and timing for the simulation lab.
Implement AI tools and technologies to support students and staff.
Create and support supply chain technology learning materials in partnership with the supply chain academic team.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and university policies.
Support industry and external research opportunities
Facilitate training sessions for staff and students on the use of AI tools and supply chain technologies.

Requirements:

ARU UG student
Keen interest in current and future technologies tool chains i.e. AL, IoT, ML etc
Project Management: Ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide clear reports.
Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams and building relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Successful establish and open our supply chain simulation lab
Complete one or more student base workshop session material (supply chain and professional experience project) (Timing April/May 2025)
Create a long-term roadmap for the supply chain simulation lab within research, education and external partners i.e. KPT, external funding
Material content which can be used to enhance our supply chain technology master class
